This is just the story of an every day mom, doing every day life. I might try and make, bake or create a few things along the way, since I like a good challenge. Oh and my kids will pop up a lot, just cause that is the best part about being a mom :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOAH!
I seriously am in denial about the fact that Noah turned three today?!?! When did he become like a kid? It has been a crazy, amazing, hard, life-changing, beautiful ride so far, and I cannot wait for more. Here are a pics of him at one, and two just to show you how big he has gotten!

And here he is at THREE!!!!!!!!!!

And here he is at THREE!!!!!!!!!!

?????
In the last few months, it feels like there is a some sort of health thing going on in my family...
Both Hudson and Noah have had the flu, ear infections, colds, random fevers out of the blue, and some sleeping issues.
Blaine has had the flu which lasted extra long, migraines and a stomach bug.
I have had the flu twice, stomach bug, found I have an umbilical hernia from pregnancy, other TMI things related to having a baby that you can ask me about if you want (but let's just say it involves my bladder and such), two clogged ducts and mastitis, thrush, and now have a massive fever blister on my eye and can barely open it.
I guess part of this is just me needing to write it all out and vent, but more just really getting on my face and fighting in prayer for our family. It is rather discouraging. I really try to give our family mostly organic or whole foods, avoid most meds, shots, etc that could add extra crap to our bodies, use aromatherapy oils, exercise, and really try to do everything I can to keep us healthy. UGHHH. I have really come to the knowledge that I have to keep praising God and trusting Him that He is in control, as I really just want to throw in the towel and eat chocolate cake for breakfast and never get off the couch. Maybe we would be healthier that way, HA!
Blessed be the name of the Lord...

The song in my head today
Rush Of Fools
"Undo"
I've been here before, now here I am again
Standing at the door, praying You'll let me back in
To label me a prodigal would be
Only scratching the surface of who I've been known to be
Turn me around pick me up
Undo what I've become
Bring me back to the place
Of forgiveness and grace
I need You, need Your help
I can't do this myself
You are the only one who can undo
What I've become
I focused on the score, but I could never win
Trying to ignore, a life of hiding my sin
To label me a hypocrite would be
Only scratching the surface of who I've been known to be
Turn me around pick me up
Undo what I've become
Bring me back to the place
Of forgiveness and grace
I need You, need Your help
I can't do this myself
You are the only one who can undo
What I've become
Make every step lead me back to
The sovereign way that You
Turn me around pick me up
Undo what I've become
Bring me back to the place
Of forgiveness and grace
I need You, need Your help
I can't do this myself
You are the only one who can undo
What I've become

Please just pray :)
I am not one for asking for help, but I'm gonna...
I am gonna ask you to pray for us. In the last week, Hudson has had thrush, an ear infection, and a virus/fever with a horrible cough that he still has. Noah got the same fever/virus and still has a terrible cough. Blaine has had a fever for three days, cough, congestion, migraines, and other flu symptoms. I also have started feeling bad a few days ago, and I think it has finally hit me today. All this to say, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed and really attacked by satan in our health. It sucks, and I am trying to remember today what Christ did for me, and it is nothing in comparison of a hard week.
Also, some of you know, but we are going to put our house on the market. We just feel that we need to make some changes in our finances as well as are taxes are too high and some other things. We have been trying to pack and prepare for the last few weeks, and things keep coming up (sickness, activities, etc) keeping us from doing it. It is really discouraging, bleh :( We are staying in Katy, but really want to build something cheaper, or maybe move in with you if you are reading this :P
All this to say, if you think about it, could you keep us in your prayers :) Thanks to everyone who reads this! And may God really show Himself to you this weekend and all that He sacrificed for you! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!
